Equipment prototype

Many scientists in some point in their career need to design or remodel a scientific equipment or at least some parts of a scientific equipment. We were trying to design a new liposome extruder. However we needed some prototype models to be made.

We came across this website that does 3D printing. You can easily upload your file and in most cases for less than $30, the prototype will be made for you.

This is a youtube video of a 3D printer and it shows the way that it works. Majority of people do not need to buy and operate a 3D printer and contracting out the 3D printing for less than $30 is a much better option.

3D printing can make the life of the researchers much easier.
